His short fiction film Trupi (2011) participated in the 14th Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF) and won the award for Best Production Design and an Honorable Mention for Sound Design at the 3rd Lanterna International University Film Festival in Mexico City. He participated in the 14th Maratón de Cinema Fantàstic i de Terror de Sants, Barcelona, and in the 11th Mexico City International Horror Film Festival Macabro (Macabro FICH, in spanish) and the 7th Short Shorts Film Festival Mexico (SSFFM) with his short film En lo obscuro (2012).
