His first short film El tío Facundo (2009) won Best Short at the 24th Guadalajara Film Festival (GIFF), Mexico, and was showcased in multiple festivals including the HBO New York International Latino Film Festival, the Festival Internacional de Cine Expresión en Corto (now known as the Guanajuato International Film Festival, GIFF) and many others. He is currently working on his first feature film, an adaptation of the short story The Most Dangerous Game by Richard Connell.
