Miguel Ángel Caballero is a writer, director and producer. His last short film, The Ballad of Tita and the Machines premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2023. His short film Acuitzeramo premiered at the Morelia International Film Festival and won 20 awards internationally. Miguel Ángel was selected to participate in the Academy Film Accelerator 2022 by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS). He is co-founder of Cabaldana Alchemy, an independent production company whose mission is to develop and produce stories from an LGBTQ perspective.
