Image Aviña; Rodrigo Direction Rodrigo Aviña is a lawyer, film critic, and cinematography student at the Higher School of Film [ESCINE, by its acronym in Spanish, Escuela Superior de Cine]. As a filmmaker, he directed Las cosas que se van (2024), a short film featured at festivals such as the Monterrey International Film Festival and KINOKI International University Film Festival. In addition to this, he is co-writer of the book Apandados: El sistema carcelario en el cine mexicano [Apandados: The Mexican Prison System in Cinema] (2024); he has collaborated on numerous film projects, and served as a jury member and in press departments at several film festivals.
