Image Arellano Mendoza, Yadira She studied communication at the Universidad Latina de México (UNLA). She has participated in three editions of the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM). She participated in the 7th FICM and the 6th International Exhibition of Women in Film and Television in Mexico City with her animated short film Ni muy muy ni tan tan (2009). She won 4th Place in the United for Water Competition 2011, organized by Channel 13 of Morelia, for her short film Ni una gota más (2011). She received a Special Mention in the Michoacán Short Film Screenwriting Contest at the 10th FICM for her screenplay Tiritas de papel (2012). She won the I. SAT Special Award at the 11th FICM for her animated short film Dr. Onco (2013) that was also presented at the 8th Short Shorts Film Festival Mexico (SSFFM) and the 5th Travelling Film and Audiovisual Arts Festival, Celaya, Guanajuato. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult.
