His feature-length documentary El informe Toledo (2008) participated in 10 festivals around the world, including the 13th Cine Las Americas International Film Festival, Austin, Texas; the 5th edition of the Ambulante Documentary Tour, Mexico; and the 24th Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG, in Spanish). He received a Special Mention for this film at the 7th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM); the Best Feature Documentary award at the 8th New England Festival of Ibero-American Cinema (NEFIAC); a Special Mention at the 8th International Festival of Poor Cinema of Gibara, Cuba; and an Ariel nomination for Best Original Music at the 52nd Ariel Awards Ceremony.
