He studied Social Communication at Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and has a Master's Degree in Documentary Cinema at Centro Universitario de Estudios Cinematográficos, UNAM. As a director he has two short films. He is currently presenting his third feature documentary, winner of the Ariel for best feature documentary for "Hasta los dientes" (debut film) 2018.
