Touching the Void Based on the book by Joe Simpson, Touching the void tells the story of two mountain climbers, Joe Simpson and Simon Yates, who in 1985 tried to reach the 21,000 foot peak of the Siula Grande located in the Peruvian Andes. Three days into the journey, the mountain climbers seem well prepared, until an accident leaves Joe with several broken bones in his leg. Now, some hard, cruel decisions are in order
