Miles, a young stage actor from Toronto, comes to Huron County and arrives at the home of Angus and Morgan, two aging, unmarried farmers. Miles stays with them in order to collect stories about rural life and write a play about it. All three of their lives are irrevocably altered when art attempts to imitate life and the line between truth and fiction is crossed.
Human Eagles tells the story of how the isolation created by constant travel in the world of the circus has stunted the evolution of human rights and values. It has permitted male members of the circus to maintain a micro culture where machismo is seen as a virtue and women are treated like they were back in 1955.
Super Amigos is a comic-documentary film about the masked superheroes that fight social injustice in Mexico City. These fantastic wrestlers take their profession out of the ring and into the streets. Super Neighborhood, Super Gay, Super Ecologist, Super Animal and Father Storm are the masked heroes who fight against evildoers, homophobia, pollution, cruelty to animals and poverty. Their true identity remains a mystery but they are popular figures that come at the last minute and save the day.
