Sachi, Yoshino, and Chika are three sisters living together in the city of Kamakura. When their father dies, 15 years after he abandoned them, they are forced to attend his funeral, where they meet their 13-year-old half-sister. The young women decide to invite the orphaned Suzu to live with them. She agrees, and a new life of joyful discovery begins for the four siblings.
