Zama

Diego de Zama, a South American-born officer of the Spanish Crown, awaits a letter from the King that will transfer him away from his post on the border, where he has been stagnating. He will be forced to accept any task assigned to him by the governors, who come and go as he remains. Years pass and the letter never arrives. Still waiting, and having lost everything, Zama joins a band of soldiers in pursuit of a dangerous bandit.
