Nadie recuerda ese film
2026 | B/N | 22:37
In 1977, Japanese film director Kiju Yoshida arrived in Mexico with the goal of making a samurai movie. For five years, he worked on this ambitious project, which ultimately failed in 1982. No One Remembers That Film is a documentary film essay that explores the possibilities of this unmade work, entering into a dialogue between its absence and the traces it left behind.

Tlalocan, Water Paradise

Mexico City was built on a lake, but today it faces a serious water scarcity. This film leads us across diverse places that allow us to reflect on this contradiction. Like the desert that remains on the old lakebed. The springs sprouting where there was once a dry valley, now receiving all residual water from the capital. The aquatic life and the ancestral activities that prevail in a modern city.
