Nepenthe, who lives a marginal life in the woods, is an orphaned cannibal girl. When her food runs out and she goes hunting, she catches a curious and carefree boy who confronts her. Experiencing an ephemeral happiness, Nepenthe decides not to eat her friend —a choice that could endanger her life. But the situation suddenly changes.
