In a small Romanian village during the war in Kosovo in 1999, the chief of the railway station, who happens to be the local gangster as well, stops a NATO train transporting military equipment. The train, guarded by U.S. soldiers, is crossing Romania without official documents - only the verbal approval of the Romanian government. The film explores the impact of the soldiers’ arrival on this small village.
