The Card Counter William Tell, a former serviceman-turned-poker player, leads a solitary existence on the casino trail, fleeing his dark past. He encounters Cirk, an angry and vulnerable young man obsessed with seeking revenge on a military colonel Tell was once in trouble with. Light Sleeper John LeTour is a New York City drug delivery boy for an upscale dealership. The business caters to an assortment of brokers, students and European tourists who still believe that drugs are an integral part of New York nightlife. But following the murder of a Columbia University student in a drug related incident, the police are watching mid-level dealers more closely and LeTour and his cohorts are starting to think about changing direction.
