The story of the youngest member of a group of swindlers and pickpockets operating in La Rambla, Barcelona. Originally from Eastern Europe and named Jan, its main desire is to flee from the criminal organization to which he belongs. Parallel to this he meets Mariela, a Spanish woman stranger to his criminal world but also with a will for change. They both end up being a key piece in their plans to escape.
