Mechanical Love is a documentary that portrays people who have a close relationship with a robot. From the high temple of robot technology, Japan, to Germany, Italy and back to Denmark, this world tour, seeks to highlight the human need for love. It also examines the cultural differences in how we come to emotionally accept robots in the East and in the West.
