Avoiding relationships like the plague, Greg spends most of his time making wacky versions of movies with his only friend, Earl. One day, his mother forces him to befriend Rachel, a classmate diagnosed with leukemia. Against all expectations, Greg concedes – and, what’s more, is shocked to find that he actually likes her. Mexico will no longer exist! A frenetic view runs over a convulsed Mexico City, a colossal metropolis sustained by the myth of "mestizaje" and other colonial forms of violence. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult.
