The Invisible Mountains

Several women talk about their experiences after the disappearance of their sons and husbands identified as sympathizers of Lucio Cabañas’ guerrilla movement in the 1970s. Faced with the absence of their loved ones and struggling to find them, this group of women remains strong, living in the midst of the poverty and injustice that historically has characterized the Atoyac peasant communities in the State of Guerrero, Mexico.
