X Women X Women is an experimental fiction piece about the experiences of the anonymous women who participated in Mexico´s independence movement in 1810. It is based on the testimonies of illiterate women who were arrested and interrogated for supporting the independence movement. The story moves between past and present, and is centered on a group of actresses who are staging a play, and portraying the women who were involved in the movement 200 years ago. See More
