Dottie Gets Spanked

Twenty years after the notorious tabloid romance between Gracie Atherton-Yu and her young husband Joe shocked the country, a movie is about to be shot about her story. Actress Elizabeth Berry will spend time with the family to try to better understand Gracie, whom she will play in the film. Under the pressure of this external gaze, the family dynamic is completely shattered.

Ben and Rose are two children from two different eras who secretly wish their lives were different. Ben longs for the father he has never known, while Rose, isolated by her deafness, grows obsessed with the career of a mysterious actress.
