Said is a Muslim from Morocco working in Mexico in the maintenance department of a hotel. He practices his Spanish and tries to adapt, but he feels lonely and has only his religion to keep him going. Ceferina is a solitary woman who works with Said but rejects him because of her fear of the unknown. One day, Ceferina witnesses Said’s faith and decides to get closer to him. For Said, this means he may no longer be alone.
