Ada finds herself physically and mentally reconfigured after being struck by lightning during a storm in the countryside. In addition to her visible sequelae, she is disturbed by a series of strange symptoms beyond her control: visual and auditory hallucinations, electric shocks, and temporary confusions that ultimately distance her from her former life. She finds support in a group of other shocked people and in the doctor they blindly trust.

A feature film composed of seven short stories whose common denominator is their focus on female protagonists. With determination and courage, each of these very different women faces a specific challenge in her life that ultimately makes her stronger and more self-aware. Some segments are inspired by true events.

Alex, a 15-year-old girl, harbors a dark secret. Her parents moved from Buenos Aires to an isolated cabin hidden away in the dunes of the Uruguayan coast soon after she was born. Two friends from the city and their 16-year-old son, Álvaro, come to stay with the family. Álvaro´s father is a plastic surgeon who pays a visit out of concern for Alex´s medical condition. The attraction between the two teenagers forces the family to face their worst fears. Everyone in the small town considers Alex a freak, but all the attention could turn out to be dangerous
