The world is made of boxes. We live in them, move in them, see the world trough them and finally we end in them. Huacal City introduces us to the empty containers supplier at the Supply Center in Mexico City, where every day, thousands of wooden boxes are bought, sold and repaired.

Paal (Child)

The documentary Paal presents Memo, a Mayan child, whose biggest dream is to tell the stories of his people. Through his own vision and fantasy, we explore the everyday life and culture of his town, and the exuberant nature of the Yucatan jungle in the south of Mexico. Paal pays homage to a magical world that is not exempt from the influence of the Western world.
