They forge a macabre friendship when Justine hurts her finger and Alucarda drinks her blood. The confessor believes them both to be possessed and tortures them as part of an exorcism. A well-meaning doctor accuses the priest of killing Justine and shelters Alucarda in his home, giving rise to a series of bloody events.
