Estudió la licenciatura en Artes Visuales para la Expresión Plástica en la Universidad de Guadalajara, se tituló con la tesis: Las artes plásticas y su relación con seis cortometrajes de animación stopmotion realizados en Jalisco. Ha trabajado en diferentes proyectos de animación dentro del departamento de arte: Pinocchio de Guillermo del Toro, Inzomnia del director Luis Téllez, La casa de la memoria de Sofía Arreola por mencionar algunos. Coescribió el artículo: Exploraciones estéticas y simbólicas sobre la muerte y la infancia en cortos stopmotion realizados en Guadalajara, publicado en la revista española con A de animación.
