Dos años mástarde realizó su ópera prima documental, La Colonial (2022), cuyo estreno tuvo lugaren la vigésima edición del mismo festival, donde fue reconocida con el Ojo de laSección Michoacana.Tras su estreno, La Colonial inició un destacado recorrido en el circuito internacionalde festivales.
