Image Ahumada; Israel Dirección Es licenciado en Ciencias de la Comunicación por la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Es egresado del Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC), donde se graduó con la especialidad en Dirección. Durante su etapa académica dirigió los cortometrajes Perdona nuestras ofensas (2013), nominado a una Diosa de Plata como Mejor Cortometraje de Ficción; Fausto en la oscuridad (2017), Premio a Mejor Director otorgado en el Festival de Cine Contemporáneo Black Canvas; y Dejar la piel (2017), Premio Doculatente al Mejor WIP, otorgado en el 6º DOCULAB – Festival Internacional de Cine de Guadalajara, dicho reconocimiento consistió en su asistencia al IDFAcademy durante el 27º International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA). Profesionalmente se ha desempeñado como productor de más de una decena de cortometrajes, así como del largometraje documental M (2018), de Eva Villaseñor, el cual obtuvo el Premio a Mejor Documental Mexicano en la 21º edición del Festival Internacional de Cine de Guanajuato y el Premio Ambulante a Documental en el 16° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM). Actualmente es docente en distintas universidades, mientras desarrolla su ópera prima La mano, que aplastarnos quiere.
