Image Dávila Cabrera; Héctor Estudió cine en la Ciudad de México, en el Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica. También tiene estudios de pintura y escultura en la Universidad de San Carlos y de teatro en la UNAM. Realizó sus primeras animaciones a temprana edad en el taller de animación de la Escuela Superior de Artes y Diseño. Algunos años después, estudió cine y video en el taller del maestro Sergio García. Ganó el premio del público en el festival Cuadro 2003 por su mediometraje Cerca de la Acción, Extremo. Escribió y actuó en el largometraje El Caco, mostrada en el festival FICCO 2007. En el mismo año escribió y actuó en el largometraje Cabecitas. En 2008 dirige y anima el cortometraje El Silencio en Sad Hill, mostrado en el festival Kurtzfilmtage, Suiza; entre otros. Dos años después, dirigió El Gato con Botox, el cual ganó el segundo lugar en el festival Animasivo y el primer lugar en el Concurso Nacional de Video Experimental. En 2013 participó como director de animación en el cortometraje Un Día en Familia, producido por IMCINE. En 2015 ganó la Beca de Fomento y Coinversiones del FONCA por el proyecto Ultima Estación, el cual también ganó el premio a postproducción IMCINE 2016. El cortometraje fue nominado al Ariel en 2017. En 2018 ganó la Beca de Fomento y Coinversiones del FONCA para realizar un cortometraje de animación titulado Los Cuervos. En 2021 ganó una beca de postproducción IMCINE para terminarlo.
