Por el guión del largometraje Crucecitas, en 2011 es becada por la Fundación Carolina para el Taller de desarrollo de proyectos cineatográficos iberoamericanos en España, y por el Laboratorio de desarrollo de proyectos con altura y el Taller Internacional de Guión en el Ibermedia Bolivia Lab. En 2013 es becaria de Jovenes Creadores (FONCA) por su documental Lengua muerta, actualmente en posproducción, además de participar en el Talent Campus Guadalajara del Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara (FICG). Su cortometraje Carreteras (2013), ganador el 4to Concurso de cortometrajes Mix-México, obtiene el premio “Diversidad sexual” en el Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes FENACO en Cusco, Perú; además, es seleccionado en festivales como el Gay and Lesbian Film Festival (The Roze Filmdagen), en Ámsterdam, Holanda; en el Festival Internacional del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano en la Habana, Cuba, y en el Festival de Cine Iberoamericano de Huelva, España, entre otros. Ese mismo año, su documental El secreto ajeno, es ganador de un premio de producción otorgados por el Tribeca Film Institute. A través de la beca Ibermedia por el guión del largometraje Al estilo Jalisco, participó en el Laboratorio de guión Cinefilia en Colombia. Su cortometraje, El Tigre y la Flor, ganador de la segunda convocatoria de apoyo a la producción de cortometrajes organizado por el IMCINE, es parte de la Selección Oficial del 14º FICM. Actualmente trabaja en el documental Esto no es un elefante y en el financiamiento de su ópera prima. Other Movies Mexico will no longer exist!
