Entre sus colaboraciones figuran películas como Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), The Lego Movie (2014), Ice Age: Continental Drift (2012), Astroboy (2009), Happy Feet (2006), entre otras. Desde 2006, sus cortometrajes han ganado diversos premios alrededor del mundo: Topializ (2006) fue reconocido con el premio Best Animation en el Druid Underground Film Festival, y Mandorla (2008), fue Mejor Cortometraje Video y Animación Experimental en el FIA09, Brasil. Entre sus becas y reconocimientos figuran la Full CalArts Scholarship en el California Institute of the Arts, el premio Latin Cinemateca Award, la Super Hero Scholarship del Worldstudio Foundation, en Nueva York. En 2014 obtuvo el apoyo del IMCINE en el 14º Concurso Nacional de Proyectos de Cortometraje de Animación. Actualmente es el director creativo de MaliArts, un estudio de animación y diseño de la Ciudad de México en donde ha dirigido más de 10 comerciales, un cortometraje animado y una mini serie animada para Oreo Australia. Su último trabajo, The Inksect (2016), ha formado parte de festivales como el Cannes Short Film Festival; el Festival Internacional de Cinema Fantàstic (SITGES) de Catalunya, Sitges, España, y del Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival (SICAF2016), en Seoul, Corea y es parte de la Selección Oficial del 14º FICM.
