Olas del cielo se presentará en el 59° BFI London Film Festival, Reino Unido; el 31° Festival de Cine de Varsovia (WFF, por sus siglas en inglés), Polonia; el 30° Festival Internacional de Cine de Mar del Plata, Argentina; el 17° Festival FILMAR en América Latina, Suiza; y fue parte de la Selección Oficial del 13° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM).
