Obtuvo el Premio Independent Spirit en el 19º Festival Internacional de Cine de Sedona, Arizona, por su cortometraje Peoria (2010). Compitó en la Selección Oficial del 12º Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM) con su ópera prima Hilda (2014), donde ganó el premio a Mejor Actriz de Largometraje Mexicano para Verónica Langer y el Ariel a mejor actriz coprotagónica para Adriana Paz. Actualmente culminó su segunda película: Territorio (2019), y el documental Camino a Roma (2019), sobre el rodaje de Roma de Alfonso Cuarón.
