Estudió la licenciatura en Derecho en la Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA), Ciudad de México; una maestría en Derecho Internacional Económico en la Universidad de París I – Panthéon Sorbonne, Francia; Cinematografía en la Universidad de Nueva York (NYU por sus siglas en inglés); y Fotografía, en la Escuela Nacional Superior de Fotografía (ENSP por sus siglas en francés), Arles, Francia, y en el Centro Internacional de Fotografía (ICP por sus siglas en inglés), Nueva York. Participó en el 6° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM) con su cortometraje documental El niño Fidencio y sus hermanos de luz (2008), que se proyectó en diversos museos y galerías alrededor del mundo, como la Academia de Francia en Roma, Italia, dentro de la exposición Cinematography & Mysticism, en 2007, y el Centro de Arte Contemporáneo Futura, Praga, en 2008, dentro de la muestra Atlante Latinoamericano.
