Además, tomó cursos de Diseño Visual en la Escuela de Artes Visuales (SVA por sus siglas en inglés), Dirección de Actores en el Herbert Berghof Studio (HB Studio) y Postproducción en Open-i Media, también en Nueva York. Especializado en la fotografía y en la experimentación de métodos y herramientas digitales y tradicionales, ha participado, con su obra, en diversos festivales y galerías de arte alrededor del mundo. Participó en la Selección Oficial del 4° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM) con su cortometraje de ficción 1975 (2006). En 2012, tuvo una muestra fotográfica en Casa Maauad, dentro del proyecto interdisciplinario ADF, llamada “Blind Doberman”. Ha obtenido numerosos reconocimientos por su obra en el cine, el video y la publicidad; entre ellos, el Premio Círculo de Oro, otorgado por del Círculo Creativo de México por la campaña “Expulsación de Sky”, en 2005; ocho premios en el 8° Festival Pantalla de Cristal, México, por la campaña corporativa “Así somos”; y Mejor Video Latinoamericano de los Premios Oye por su videoclip para la cantante mexicana Alejandra Guzmán, Por qué no estás aquí (2010). Fue finalista en la 52ª edición de los Cannes Lions por su comercial para Wonderbra, Cinturón de seguridad (2005). Other Movies Mexico will no longer exist! Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult.
