Obtuvo el premio a Mejor Cortometraje de Ficción en el 6° Festival Internacional de Cine de Pasto (FICPA), Colombia, por Alitas (2010), que participó, además, en el 25° Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara (FICG); en el 5° Short Shorts Film Festival México (SSFFM); en el 32° Festival Internacional del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano, La Habana, Cuba; y en el 24° Festival Internacional de Cine y Video Estudiantil (ISFVF por sus siglas en inglés) de la Academia de Cine de Pekín, República de China, entre otros. Su cortometraje de ficción Matabichos (2014) forma parte de la Selección Oficial del 12° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM). Esta película fue ganadora del premio al Mejor Cortometraje de Ficción en el 9° SSFFM, Ciudad de México, y ha participado, además, en el 29° FICG, Guadalajara; en el 10° Festival Internacional de Cine de Monterrey (FIC Monterrey), Nuevo León; en el 17° Festival Internacional de Cine de Guanajuato (GIFF por sus siglas en inglés); en el 38° Festival des Films du Monde (FMM Montréal), Canadá, entre otros; y próximamente, en el 17°Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia (SSFF & Asia), Japón.
