Participó en el 2° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM) con su cortometraje documental 50 años de Cha-cha-chá (2003), sobre la historia del género musical que da título a la película, a través de la Orquesta América y narrada por su fundador, Ninón Mondéjar, en La Habana, Cuba. Esta obra obtuvo el premio a Mejor Documental en el 7° Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de Los Ángeles, LA Shorts Fest, California, y recorrió, además, más de diez muestras y festivales alrededor del mundo, entre ellos, el 25° Festival Internacional del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano, La Habana, Cuba; el 1er Festival Internacional de Cine Documental de Chicago, Illinois; y el 2do Festival Internacional de Documentales de Madrid, DocumentaMadrid, España. Como fotógrafa, ha trabajado en diversos proyectos e importantes revistas de París y Nueva York. Entre sus publicaciones, se encuentran los libros Poland (1995) y Lotería Fotográfica Mexicana (1995), homenaje a las estampas del juego popular mexicano.
