Su cortometraje de ficción El sonámbulo (2014) formó parte de la Selección Oficial del 12º FICM. Esta película participó, además, en el 23º Festival de Biarritz de Cine y Culturas de América Latina, Francia, y en el 17º Festival Internacional de Cine de Guanajuato (GIFF por sus siglas en inglés); y obtuvo el Troféu ABD-SP en el 25º Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de São Paulo Kinoforum, Brasil, y el premio a Mejor Guión en el 9º Short Shorts Film Festival México (SSFFM).
