Participó en el 60° Robert Flaherty Film Seminar, becada por parte de la Fundación LEF, Estados Unidos. Su cortometraje documental, en co-dirección con Sebastián Díaz Aguirre, Toñita’s (2013) formó parte de la Selección Oficial del 12° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM). Esta obra obtuvo el Premio Brooklyn Pride en el 17° Festival de Cine de Brooklyn (BFF por sus siglas en inglés), Nueva York, y se ha presentado, entre otras muestras y festivales, en el 15° MoMa Documentary Fortnight, en el Museo de Arte Moderno de Nueva York, MoMa, donde fue su estreno mundial; en el 25° Festival de Cine de Nueva Orleáns (NOFF por sus siglas en inglés); y en el Documentarist 2014, Estambul, Turquía. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult.
