Su cortometraje Foco rojo (2011) formó parte del 48 Hour Film Project 2011, donde obtuvo trece nominaciones y cuatro premios, entre ellos, el Premio del Público. Su cortometraje de ficción El huésped (2013) formó parte de la Selección Oficial del 12° FICM. Esta obra se ha presentado, además, en el 9th Fright Night Film Festival, Kentucky, Estados Unidos; en el 3er Baja International Film Festival (BIFF), Los Cabos; y en el 13° Festival Internacional de Cine de Horror de la Ciudad de México Macabro, entre otros. Su largometraje de ficción After School (2014) ganó los premios a Mejor Director, Mejor Actor y Mejor Película en el Encuentro Mundial de Cine 2014, Estados Unidos.
