Sus películas han sido exhibidas en la Gira de Documentales Ambulante, DocsMx, la Semana de la Crítica del Festival de Cannes, Sunny Side of the Docs La Rochelle, BAFICI Argentina y el Marché du Film del Festival de Cannes. Su proyecto FBI recibió el Gabriel Figueroa Film Fund a Desarrollo en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Los Cabos. En el 2018, Gamou recibió el Premio Nacional de Periodismo por la serie documental Nuestra Aventura Musical. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult.
