Estudió la licenciatura en Ciencias de la Comunicación en la Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí (UASLP) y una especialidad en Cine Digital en la Universidad del Centro de México (UCEM), San Luis Potosí. Su obra ha recorrido más de diez muestras y festivales alrededor del mundo. Ganó el premio a Mejor Cortometraje de Ficción en el 2° Rodando Film Festival, San Luis Potosí por El día de las alas (2010). Obtuvo la Beca del Fondo Estatal para la Cultura y las Artes de San Luis Potosí para la realización de su cortometraje documental  El diablo, la danza y el tambor (2011), ganador del Segundo Lugar en el 7° Festival de Cine y Video Indígena (FECVI), Morelia. Participó, con su cortometraje de ficción Dos colores (2012), en el 16° Festival de Diversidad Sexual en Cine y Video Mix México, y en la muestra Diversidad Somos Tod@s, Cuernavaca, en 2013. Su cortometraje documental Lalaxtsopelik, naranja dulce (2012) participó, entre otros festivales, en el 8° Festival Internacional de Cine Documental de la Ciudad de México DocsDF dentro de la sección “Un, docs, tres por mí”, y en el 3er Festival Internacional de Cine de Puebla (FIC Puebla). Obtuvo por esta obra el premio a Mejor Cortometraje y el Premio Universitario en el 8° FECVI, Morelia. Participó en el 17° Festival Mix México, con su cortometraje de ficción Puto putote (2013). Su cortometraje documental Nenek (2014) formó parte de la Selección Oficial del 12° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM).
