Formó parte del Berlinale Talents en 2006. Ha participado en dos ediciones del Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM). Compitió, con su cortometraje de ficción Still Life (2006), en el 5º FICM y en el 10º Festival Internacional de Cine de Guanajuato (GIFF por sus siglas en inglés). Obtuvo, en la misma edición del GIFF, el Primer Lugar en la categoría de Largometraje del 6º Concurso Nacional de Guión Cinematográfico, por su guión Restaurante, cuyo proyecto de largometraje formó parte del taller de producción Morelia LAB en el 6º FICM. En esta edición del FICM participó con su cortometraje de ficción Army of me (mi armada) (2007). Obtuvo, en 2013, el apoyo del Estímulo Fiscal a Proyectos de Inversión en la Producción y Distribución Cinematográfica Nacional (EFICINE), para la creación de su ópera prima Restaurante, aún en etapa de pre-producción. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult.
