Sus trabajos como director han sido seleccionados y premiados en diversos festivales nacionales e internacionales, algunos títulos son Tristeza (2007), cortometraje de ficción, participante en el 5º FICM, en el 56º Festival Internacional de Cine de San Sebastián, España, entre otros; ganó también una Mención del Jurado a Mejor Cortometraje de Ficción en el 3er Festival Internacional de Cine de Monterrey (FIC Monterrey), Nuevo León, y el premio a Mejor Cortometraje de Ficción en el 2º Festival Mantarraya de Cortometraje Universitario, Nayarit, México. Con Estas horas son más bellas que mis días (2008), fue ganador de dos premios a Mejor Cortometraje de Ficción, en el 3er Festival Mantarraya de Cortometraje Universitario y en el 3er Festival Internacional de Cine de Toluca (FICCHT), México; además de participar en diversos festivales. Su cortometraje de ficción Nubes distantes (2010), formó parte de la Selección Oficial del 8º FICM; del 8º Short Shorts Film Festival México (SSFFM); y del 1er Encuentro Iberoamericano de Escuelas de Cine Ibergente, Quito, Ecuador. Participó en el 9º Festival de Cine de Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, México, con su cortometraje documental, co-dirigido con jóvenes de Todos Santos, 7 preguntas, 7 días, 7 voces (2012). Obtuvo dos premios a Mejor Cortometraje Documental, en el 8º Festival Internacional de Cine Documental de la Ciudad de México DocsDF y en el Festival de Cine y Video del Tec de Monterrey, México, por su cortometraje documental, en co-dirección con Carlos Torres, La ahorcadita (2013). Actualmente se encuentra pre produciendo su ópera prima intitulada No nos moverán Other Movies Mexico will no longer exist! A frenetic view runs over a convulsed Mexico City, a colossal metropolis sustained by the myth of "mestizaje" and other colonial forms of violence. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult. This is an erratic film that invites us to reimagine the complex relationship we have with the constructed “mexicanidad.” See More Ziuta travesías Ziuta, a Polish Jewish survivor of World War II, was an extraordinary woman who sparked special devotion for her political commitment and her support for clandestine struggle. As a teenager, Ziuta weathered exile with fortitude and determination, saving her mother and other relatives from perishing in their flight. With a Super-8 camera that once belonged to his father and has remained untouched for 41 years, he plans to retrace the path of the shepherd: the journey of transhumance that his grandfather undertook in his youth, following now-forgotten coordinates. The result is a film that delights in the search —as well as the many detours along the way.
