Participó, entre otras muestras y festivales, en el 7º Festival Internacional de Cine de Guanajuato (GIFF por sus siglas en inglés) y en el 5º Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara (FICG), con su cortometraje documental Largo viaje (2004), por el que obtuvo en 2004 una Mención Honorífica del Premio José Rovirosa de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Participó en la 4º y en la 5º edición del Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM) con sus cortometrajes de ficción Morir de noche (2006) y El otro Diego (2007), respectivamente. Este último participó también en el 10º GIFF y en el 7º Festival de Cine de Comedia de Tarazona y el Moncayo “Paco Martínez Soria”, España, y obtuvo, por el proyecto del cortometraje, el premio En Tránsito y un seminario internacional en la 8º Fábrica Audiovisual, Buenos Aires. Ganó el Premio José Rovirosa y el premio a Mejor Cortometraje Documental en el 1er Festival Internacional de Cine Documental de la Ciudad de México DocDF, por Hasta el final (2008). Su largometraje documental Tanrreje, el agua grande (2013) participó en el 9º Festival de Cine y Video Indígena (FECVI), Morelia, y en el 8º Encuentro Hispanoamericano de Cine y Video Documental Independiente Contra el Silencio Todas las Voces, México, entre otros.
