Ahora director de la productora Solaris, es autor de varios cortos, documentales y dos largometrajes con los que ha participado en diversos festivales. Gracias a Clandestino (2008) obtuvo El Ojo en la 6° FICM. Su cortometraje de ficción El espacio vacío (2009) formó parte de la Selección Oficial del 7º FICM; y con Alias (2013), documental que aborda el atentado sufrido por la ex secretaria de seguridad pública de Michoacán, participó en el 8º Encuentro Iberoamericano de Cine y Video Documental Independiente Contra el Silencio Todas las Voces, México. En el 2015 realizó Día Seis, su ópera prima, la cual obtuvo más de 30 premios al rededor del mundo.
