Su obra ha recorrido más de diez festivales alrededor del mundo. Obtuvo el Premio a Mejor Documental en el 1er Festival de Cortometraje Universitario Hazficciarte, Ciudad de México, por su cortometraje Solicitud (2009). Participó en el 1er Festival Internacional de Cine UNAM (FICUNAM), México, y en el 39° Festival Internacional de Cine de Huesca, España, entre otros, con su cortometraje de ficción Andrea (2010), por el que obtuvo la Beca London Film Academy y el Premio Musa de la Asociación de Mujeres en el Cine y la Televisión en el marco del 13° Festival Internacional de Cine de Guanajuato (GIFF por sus siglas en inglés). Su cortometraje Casa cuna (2010) estuvo nominado al premio Ariel a Mejor Cortometraje Documental en la 53ª entrega de los premios Ariel, México, y ganó una Mención Honorífica en el Premio José Rovirosa 2010, de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Participó, entre otros festivales, en la 53a Semana de la Crítica, Cannes, con su cortometraje de ficción Jerusalén (2013), por el que obtuvo el Premio Especial Studio 5 de Mayo en el 11° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM) y Mejor Película en el 14° aluCine Latin Film + Media Arts Festival, Canadá.
