Participó en el 8º Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM) con su cortometraje de ficción Mi niña (2009), por el que obtuvo el premio a Mejor Cinematografía en el 2º Festival de Cortometraje Universitario Hazficciarte; Mejor Cortometraje, Premio del Público y Mejor Actriz para Evangelina Sosa en el Festival Internacional de Cine Universitario Lanterna; y Mejor Cortometraje en 20 años de la carrera de Ciencias de la Comunicación del ITESM, en 2012. Obtuvo en 2012 el Premio Dioses de México, otorgado por Los Realizadores y el Museo Soumaya, México, por su cortometraje de ficción, protagonizado por Ximena Ayala y Luis Gerardo Méndez, Shakespeare tuvo una hermana (2012).
