Image Cassini; Gian Dirección, Edición, Guión, Producción Estudió la licenciatura en Lenguajes Audiovisuales en la Facultad de Artes Visuales (FAV) de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL), México, donde también ha trabajado como docente de las materias Producción de Cortometraje, Producción de Documental y Producción de Video. Ha cursado, además, diversos talleres de Cinematografía, entre los que destacan, un Diplomado en Dirección Cinematográfica con la realizadora argentina Lucrecia Martel, en 2005, y un Taller de Guión para Documental con el realizador español Ricardo Íscar, en 2012. Su obra ha recorrido más de diez muestras y festivales alrededor del mundo. Participó, entre otros festivales, en el 5° Festival Internacional de Cine Gay de la UNAM, Ciudad de México, y en el 14° Festival de Diversidad Sexual en Cine y Video Mix México, con su cortometraje de ficción Panoramas (2009); por el que obtuvo una Mención Especial en el 5° Festival Internacional de Cine de Monterrey (FIC Monterrey). Compitió en la Selección Oficial del 9° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM) con su cortometraje de ficción A rapel (2011), que participó, además, en el 33° Festival Internacional del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano, La Habana, Cuba; en el Festival Internacional de Cine Queer de Viena, Identities 2013, Austria; y en el 23° Festival de Cine Queer de Melbourne (MQFF por sus siglas en inglés), Australia, entre otros. Cuenta también con una amplia carrera como productor, entre cuyos trabajos destacan: El pacto (2011) de Pablo Alejandro Gómez Canales y Ballad of the Living Dead (2014), cortometraje ganador del Concurso de Producción Cinematográfica (PROMOCINE) 2011, Nuevo León, y del 7° Concurso Nacional de Apoyo a la Postproducción de Cortometraje, otorgado por el Instituto Mexicano de Cinematografía (IMCINE). El documental Comala obtuvo el premio IMCINE para el inicio de su desarrollo en el 7° Festival Internacional de Cine Documental de la Ciudad de México DocsDF.
