Estuvo nominado al Ariel por Mejor Cortometraje Documental en la 51ª entrega de los premios Ariel, México, por su cortometraje documental Cine a mano (2009). Su cortometraje Dos jaulas (2011) ganó el premio del Público en el Rally Pro Cámara vs Cabellera, organizado por la productora Lemon Films en el marco del 13° GIFF. Obtuvo el Premio del Público Mayahuel en el 22° Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara (FICG), por su ópera prima Club eutanasia (2005).
